095 Seaplane Tender

Designed from the plans, this is a sale model of an RAF Seaplane Tender found in various stations around the British coast (including Pembroke dock). They were used to service seaplanes such as the Sunderland and other of its contemporaries in the 30-40’s.

Certain parts had to be beefed up in order to print properly, other than that I believe its a pretty true representation of the type. A hull of one of these vessels can be seen in the entrance drive to the Sunderland Museum in Pembroke Dock at the time of writing.

The model comes unpainted. Smaller scales will come as a model without mast. larger scales can be shown with crewed cabin by adding figures – not included.

I designed and printed this model and it is exclusive to me. allow a couple of weeks because it may have to be printed especially for you. colours will vary.

See also our exclusive 3d printed models including Fairmile D & B and British Power Boat Torpedo & Gun boats, Mersey & Liverpool class and inflatable type lifeboats and beach tractor.

unpainted model kit, requires assembly and painting, colours may vary. We may need to print your order so please allow more time than is usual, although we do carry stock of the usual scales.

Pictures show 3d rendering as well as a finished model and the component parts.

I like Uhu glue for assembly. Dennis prefers plastic weld.
