A Belgian produced rocket firing system. The system can fire 40 rockets from launcher tubes in a single, ripple, or salvo modes with an interval of 0.1 to 9.9 seconds for each rocket. The system is capable of devastating an area of 200x300 meters in a salvo. Maximum range is only about 6 km for rockets with MK-40 motor, but can be increased to 8 km by using rockets with FZ-68 motor. The FZ70 rocket was a product of Forges de Zeebrugge (FZ) now part of the Thales group and was an unguided rocket weighing approximately 4.3 kg and carrying 1 kg on high explosive intended for use against unarmoured targets. The launcher however could also take a full range of 70mm rockets including anti-personnel, anti-tank, smoke, incendiary, illuminating, and flechette. It was able to fire them out to 8 km and designed for saturation of an area 200 x 300m.\n\n\n\nNDL-40 (also called LAU 97) is a towed multiple rocket launcher developed and produced by IPTN (now PT DI) of Indonesia. The weapon system used 70mm (2.75 inch) rockets as projectile. The rocket used is produced by IPTN under license from Belgium.\n\n\n\nThe system was loaded on a variety of platforms including the Alvis Streaker and trailers.\n\n\n\n\n\nI like Uhu glue for assembly. Dennis prefers plastic weld.\n\n
